Get Funding

We’re invested in your momentum.

Get the funds for your next tobacco-free campus initiative.
Apply for a SPARK Micro- or Mini-Grant.

The structure of the SPARK Micro- or Mini-Grants helps to guide campuses from policy conception through implementation and enforcement. Funded campuses will develop their own SPARK work plan: creative, specific, and measurable initiatives that address the challenge of tobacco on their campus and work towards a 100%  tobacco-free campus policy. SPARK staff offers technical assistance to campuses as they implement their work plan activities.

Micro-Grants of up to $300 are now available to assist campuses through small-scale advocacy and education efforts in order to initiate, continue, or maintain a tobacco-free college campus policy initiative. This is a great opportunity for campuses just starting out or those who have a tobacco-free campus policy passed and want to continue the conversation.

Additionally, Mini-Grants, known as SPARK Projects, of up to $2,000 are available every year for institutions of higher education in Wisconsin to pursue and/or maintain a tobacco-free campus policy. This opportunity is great for campuses that are ready to dive deeper into tobacco-free campus policy work.
